Trauma Quality Programs: New for the 2025 National Trauma Data Standard (NTDS)

This training course is designed for all staff who document, abstract, validate, report, and analyze trauma data, and offers case-based scenarios that focus on changes in the 2025 National Trauma Data Standard Data Dictionary, released July 2024.

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

  • Explain the changes and updates in the July 2024 release of the 2025 NTDS, with a specific focus on new data elements, revisions to existing ones, and any guideline modifications. 
  • Apply the updates from the 2025 NTDS Data Dictionary, released July 2024, to case-based scenarios, ensuring accurate collection and documentation of trauma data.
