NSQIP Trauma Exclusion Webinar- 2.13.25

Overview

The ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement Program® (ACS NSQIP® seeks to enhance our understanding of surgical practice. Ultimately, the program aims to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction by fostering evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement. Reports sourced directly from patient records provide hospitals and staff with the most accurate and risk adjusted data to inform patient outcomes. Before generating data, you must first identify the appropriate and eligible cases for your sampling.

During the NSQIP Trauma Exclusion Education Webinar, we will examine how a case is considered a trauma for the purposes of Adult and Pediatric NSQIP, whether a trauma case is eligible for inclusion in sampling, evaluate common trauma scenarios, and apply the concepts learned from the case studies to future abstraction.
