Management of the Difficult Gallbladder
This webinar is part of a series highlighting selected panel sessions from Clinical Congress 2023. The webinar expands on information discussed in the original session, providing additional commentary and allowing for a deeper understanding of the content.
The difficult gallbladder remains a challenge in surgical practice. This session will explore safe and effective strategies to approach the patient with severe acute cholecystitis. In addition, the topic of cholecystectomy in the cirrhotic patient will also be explored as will techniques for managing the difficult gallbladder in a rural setting.
The live webinar will take place on Thursday, June 27, 2024, 6:00 - 7:00 pm CT, featuring additional commentary from Clancy J. Clark, MD, FACS, and Morgan Hennessy, MD.

Financial benefits are usually associated with roles such as employment, management position, independent contractor (including contracted research), consulting, speaking and teaching, membership on advisory committees or review panels, board membership, and other activities from which remuneration is received, or expected.
Conflict of Interest
Circumstances create a conflict of interest when an individual has an opportunity to affect CME content about products or services of an ineligible company with which he/she has a financial relationship.
The ACCME also requires that ACS manage any reported conflict and eliminate the potential for bias during the educational activity. Any conflicts noted below have been managed to our satisfaction.
