The Dilemma of Incidentally Discovered Pancreatic Lesions (No CME)

Session Description

The widespread use of cross-sectional imaging (ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)) has led to an explosion in the discovery of asymptomatic pancreatic lesions over the past two decades the pancreatic incidentaloma. This panel will focus on the evaluation of incidentally discovered pancreatic lesions cystic (mutinous and serous lesions, intraductal pancreatic mutinous neoplasms true cysts, and pseudocysts) and solid lesions (pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors). Selection criteria for observation, interventional evaluation, and surgical management will be discussed.
