SESAP 17 Advanced: Previews to Sharpen Your Practice (No CME)
Session Description
Practicing surgeons prefer Continuing Medical Education and self-assessment tools that are tailored to their practices, yet a scarcity of robust, peer-reviewed programs exists for many areas. To address this gap, in 2020 the American College of Surgeon’s Division of Education will debut the first advanced edition of Surgical Education and Self-Assessment Program (SESAP®). SESAP 17 Advanced was developed by 54 expert surgeons with the same rigor as the comprehensive SESAP, which has been unparalleled in quality during its 48-year legacy. In this Panel Session, SESAP's medical director and a panel of authors will discuss the necessity and utility of SESAP 17 Advanced; preview content across specialties such as alimentary, breast, critical care, endocrine, and trauma; and discuss its applicability to clinical practice.
Moderator: John A. Weigelt, MD, DVM, FACS, Lead, SD
Co-Moderator: Ajit K. Sachdeva, MD, FACS, FRCSC, FSACME , Chicago, IL
