What You Need to Know to Protect Yourself from Being Mislabeled a "Disruptive Surgeon" (PtS)

Session Description

This panel will focus on the tools that individual surgeons need to protect themselves from a politically motivated disruptive physician termination. It will consist of a case history of a surgeon that successfully faced down a false claim, an expert lawyer that will discuss what a surgeon can do proactively, and an expert in hospital bylaw development so that surgeons can know what fair and unbiased bylaws should look like. There will also be discussion about what steps are a must for a corporation/employer to take and what rights the surgeons have during the process.
