Pelvic fractures continue to be associated with significant morbidity and even mortality after blunt trauma. Advances in hemorrhage control and fracture stabilization (both short-term and long-term) have dramatically altered the approach to these critically injured patients. This session will focus on these two aspects of management with an emphasis on emerging concepts of care.
