The purpose of this Panel Session is to showcase pathology more common in resource-poor areas and surgical methods in the perioperative setting to facilitate patient care; this session may be case-based or a summary presentation of various techniques of managing specific diseases. Those cases may include common pathologies such as parasitic infections, or multi-casualty trauma that is more common in such settings. Panelists will cover a diverse array of specialties including anesthesia, plastics, orthopaedics, and urology.
