CC2019: Transition from Medical School to Residency: Are We Preparing Our Medical Students Adequately?
To facilitate the transition of medical students to surgery residency programs, teaching tools that have been developed include prep curricula, boot camps, and test assessments. Longitudinal outcomes have shown improved performance in the clinical arena. This session will provide attendees with an overview of existing educational interventions, discuss outcomes, and address future initiatives.
