In 2014, the American College of Surgeons and the military health system entered into a partnership to share knowledge of trauma systems, surgical education, research, and surgical quality improvement/patient safety. Since that time, there has been considerable progress made in each of these areas, and this Panel Session will highlight the success of this partnership as well as the plans for the future.
