Recent randomized trials have provided data regarding resuscitation techniques, selection of vasoactive medications, and adjuncts such as steroids in the setting of sepsis. These are cutting-edge findings not yet integrated into the Surviving Sepsis Guidelines. Experts will provide a practical approach to the management of a septic patient in 2018. Topics to be covered include: updates to surviving sepsis guidelines, vasopressors, fluids, steroids and adjuncts, and antibiotics.
